Zach Bacon offers Butler a steady, gap-sound presence on the defensive line
Bacon’s Butler profile shows a **durable, assignment-friendly DL** who saw the field in all 11 games in 2016 and finished with 10 tackles, plus a pass breakup and quarterback hit, which points to a player who can stay on the field and contribute in multiple ways. That kind of reliability is valuable for a team looking for a consistent rotational lineman rather than a boom-or-bust pass-rush specialist. The key appeal is his functional, do-the-job profile: not flashy, but the kind of front-seven piece coaches trust when they want discipline, effort, and steady snaps.
