Chandler Burkett brings proven edge-setting power to Maryland’s defensive front
Burkett is a veteran defensive lineman known for toughness, leverage, and consistent effort, with Maryland listing him as a senior defender on its roster. His value shows up in the dirty work: setting the edge, holding gaps, and bringing a physical, experienced presence that helps stabilize a defense even when the box score stays quiet. For a team, he fits best as a reliable, high-motor front-seven piece who can raise the floor of the run defense and add maturity to the room.
