Malachi Edmond gives UC Irvine a steady backcourt engine
Edmond is a guard worth tracking because the available stat trail shows he is part of UC Irvine’s current rotation, but the bigger appeal is the kind of player he profiles as: a composed, team-oriented backcourt piece who can help stabilize possessions and fit into a disciplined system. ESPN lists his 2025-26 game log and career stats, but the public results here are too thin to credibly quantify his full impact, so the best read is that he matters most as a fit-driven guard rather than a headline-chasing scorer.
