LenDale White was a touchdown machine at USC
In the 2005 season, LenDale White was one of USC’s most punishing backs, finishing with 1,302 rushing yards and 24 rushing touchdowns while averaging 6.6 yards per carry[7][12]. At USC from 2003-2005, he totaled 3,159 rushing yards and 52 rushing touchdowns, giving him rare short-yardage power and elite finishing ability around the goal line[1][5][12]. His calling card was simple but brutal: size, burst through contact, and a nose for the end zone. If a team wants a back who can close out drives and wear down defenses, White is the kind of bruiser that makes defensive coordinators groan.
