Jake Johnston brings rangy safety play and dependable NAU depth
Jake Johnston is listed as a Northern Arizona safety, but the public data available here does not provide enough verified 2026 game production to make a stat-heavy evaluation; what stands out is that he has remained on a major-college roster and projects as a defensive back whose value would come from discipline, fit, and reliability rather than flash. For a team, he reads as a practical depth addition if you want a safety who can absorb coaching, compete in the back end, and help stabilize a secondary, but his current impact level is not clearly documented in the sources provided.
