ODU's Dominant Double-Double Force Turned Irish Pro Star & Trailblazing Ref
Chelisa Painter, the 6-1 forward who powered Old Dominion with 14.9 points and 12.0 rebounds per game in the 2014-15 season, exploded as DCU Mercy's 2016 Irish Premier League Player of the Year, leading the league with 20.4 PPG (3rd overall) and 11.9 RPG (4th), plus elite 52.5% FG efficiency and 1.9 SPG. Her relentless rebounding intensity, championship leadership, and post-college pivot to pro hoops, NBA-mentored officiating, and mental health advocacy make her a versatile, gritty standout—perfect for teams craving high-motor forwards with proven winning DNA.
