Jalen Cochran brings size, edge experience, and a comeback story to Arizona's defensive front
Cochran is a veteran Arizona edge defender with proven college experience, but his current impact has been limited by a long injury-affected career, including missing time in 2018 and not appearing in games in 2019.[5] He profiles as a depth-and-upside fit rather than a finished product: a 6-4, 225-pound athlete listed as an outside linebacker/defensive end who has flashed enough to stay in the program and return after briefly considering a transfer.[3][2][5] If you value length, effort, and a player who has battled through adversity, he is worth a look; if you need immediate high-volume production, the stat sheet does not yet say that is his lane.[1][5]
