Matthew Ware’s UCLA profile still reads as a former Bruin, not a current impact CB
Matthew Ware’s UCLA resume points to a productive defensive back who was active in the run game and came away with plays in space, but the available sources only document his college career and later NFL stint—not any current UCLA performance in 2026. UCLA lists him with 83 career tackles, 1 interception, 3 pass breakups, and 1 forced fumble in 2001-02, which suggests a reliable, physical defender rather than a pure ball-hawk. If you are evaluating fit, he profiles as a toughness-and-trust corner/safety type, but there is no reliable current college-athlete data here to judge present form.
