Powerful JMU freshman DL with high-end high school production and upside
Cole Webster arrives at James Madison with a strong reputation as a disruptive interior defender, after piling up nearly 200 career tackles, 44.0 tackles for loss, and 18.0 sacks in high school, including a senior year with 75 tackles, 23.0 TFL, and 8.0 sacks. In the 2025 season, he did not see game action for JMU, so the appeal is more projection than production right now. His selling points are size, production, and a downhill, physical style that fits a program that likes tough, high-motor linemen.
