Rutgers center Rashidat Junaid brings rim protection and steady, physical frontcourt value
Rashidat Junaid’s Rutgers profile is built on real paint presence: in the 2009-10 season, she averaged 5.7 points and 3.8 rebounds while finishing her Rutgers career with 136 blocked shots, which ranked sixth all-time in program history and helped her earn a 2010 WNBA Draft selection[1][10]. She stood out as a productive, tough interior defender who could alter shots, finish around the rim, and give Rutgers reliable minutes without needing the ball a ton[1][4]. If your team wants a center who brings size, grit, and defensive disruption, she’s the kind of old-school anchor coaches love.
