Craig James brings veteran DB steadiness to Villanova
Craig James is listed by Villanova as a starter at cornerback, and his profile suggests a seasoned, reliable defensive back rather than a flashy stat-chaser. The appeal is his veteran experience, positional consistency, and proven ability to contribute in coverage and run support; his 2026 stat line is not fully available here, but he has been tracked with tackles, passes defended, and an interception on public stat summaries. If a team wants a mature DB who can stabilize the secondary and play with confidence, he fits the mold nicely.
