Versatile 6'0" Forward Bringing Guard Skills to St. John's Red Storm
Tonoia Wade, a four-star ESPN HoopGurlz recruit ranked 21st at her position out of high school, stands out as a 6-foot forward with elite guard versatility—dribbling, shooting from deep, and battling inside like a post player. Her freshman flashes at St. John's include a season-high six rebounds vs. Marquette (Feb. 13, recent season) and consistent boards (four vs. Indiana State and Marquette), signaling rebounding tenacity and multi-position fit. Scouts praise her positional flexibility and scoring touch; she's a high-upside gem for teams needing switchable athletes with guard instincts and interior grit.
