a steady Colgate line anchor from the early 2000s
Matt Shepard was a first-team All-Patriot League offensive tackle for Colgate in the 2002 season, helping the Raiders finish first in the league in rushing offense (177.5 yards per game) and total offense (392.5 yards per game). He was valued for consistency and trench toughness more than flashy stats—exactly the kind of dependable, high-floor blocker coaches love. If you need a seasoned line presence who elevates run-game efficiency and brings proven conference-level recognition, he checks the box.
