Adrian Mitchell brings veteran ball-hawking energy to Tulane's secondary
Adrian Mitchell’s Tulane profile shows a DB with strong playmaking instincts and impact versatility: in the 2001 season, he posted 138 tackles, 12 pass breakups, and 4 interceptions, earning Green Wave Defensive MVP and All-Louisiana second team honors. He also had 97 solo tackles that season, which ranked among Tulane’s all-time best, so he wasn’t just around the ball — he was living there. For a team, that points to a tough, instinctive defensive back who can tackle, cover, and create turnovers; the kind of guy who makes quarterbacks mutter into their facemasks.
