experienced Indiana State interior lineman with academic polish
Swartzendruber is an older Indiana State offensive lineman profile whose best-known public marker is his prior recognition on the 2001 Gateway All-Academic Team as a senior, which suggests a dependable, process-oriented player rather than a flashy stat-line athlete. For a team, the appeal is interior-line reliability, football IQ, and the kind of steady temperament coaches value in the trenches; the limitation is that publicly available performance data is sparse, so his current impact is better evaluated through practice film, toughness, and consistency than box-score production.
