Old Dominion’s glass-cleaning, bruising interior anchor
In the 2007-08 season, Megan Pym was a steady frontcourt force for Old Dominion, finishing among the team’s rebounding leaders at 7.3 boards per game and giving the Monarchs physical, high-effort minutes inside. Her value was bigger than the box score: she played through an ankle issue, answered with a career double-double against Stanford, and was praised as a role model and tone-setter for a championship-caliber ODU group. If you want toughness, rebounds, and veteran presence, she fits; if you need flashy scoring, that’s not her lane.
