veteran RedHawks DB and steady defensive tone-setter
Jeff Thompson’s profile points to a dependable, hard-working Miami (OH) defensive back who was described as one of the team’s hardest workers, one of its most consistent defenders, and an exceptional special teams player. In his final season with the RedHawks, he was viewed as a senior leader and among the MAC’s better cornerbacks, which says more about trust, toughness, and football IQ than splashy box-score stats. If a team wants a reliable, high-effort DB who brings stability and special teams value, Thompson checks the right boxes.
