Wilfried Likayi brings size, rebounding, and a veteran frontcourt presence to Coastal Carolina
In the 2022-23 season, Wilfried Likayi gave Coastal Carolina a useful stretch of production, including a 12-point, 8-rebound outing against Georgia State, showing the kind of physical, efficient frontcourt game that can swing a bench unit or small-ball lineup.[6] At 6-foot-9 and 215 pounds, the graduate forward profiles as a versatile, older frontcourt piece with experience at New Mexico State and Johnson County Community College, which adds maturity and system fit beyond the box score.[2][13] If a team wants toughness, positional size, and a player who can compete on the glass without needing plays run for him, Likayi is the kind of glue guy worth a hard look.[2][6]
