Decorated JUCO transfer Mickayla Tosch brings gold-glove defense and proven power to Wichita State
Tosch is a high-impact outfielder for Wichita State whose best calling cards are **elite defense** and **middle-of-the-order production**: at McLennan Community College in the 2024-25 season, she hit .433 with 18 doubles, 10 triples, 11 home runs and 65 RBIs while earning NFCA First Team All-American and two Gold Glove honors[1][2][6]. She also earned a place on Wichita State’s honor roll and was described by the program as choosing WSU to be challenged, which suggests a competitive mindset and a willingness to adjust to Division I demands[1][2].
