Elite DL for Fordham with Patriot League Scholar-Athlete Honors
Brett Biestek, a senior defensive lineman for the Fordham Rams, stands out as a rare dual-threat athlete: a 2014 Patriot League Football Scholar Athlete of the Year with a 3.78 GPA in Finance and a dominant on-field performer who started all 14 games last season, recording 58 tackles (40 solo), 20 tackles for loss, and seven sacks. His differentiators include relentless intensity, a first-team Academic All-America selection, and eleven pass breakups—showcasing versatility beyond pure power. Biestek’s injury history is clean, and his personality reflects discipline and leadership, making him a high-fit candidate for teams valuing both athletic excellence and intellectual rigor. Why care? He’s a proven, reliable DL who elevates any roster with his intensity and academic prestige.
