Tommy Conley is a live-armed St. John’s lefty still finding his footing
In the 2026 season, Tommy Conley has shown the upside of a projectable left-hander at 6-foot-3, 205 pounds, but his college track record is still early and uneven: he did not play for St. John’s in 2025, opened 2026 with a rough outing against Ball State, then delivered a cleaner BIG EAST debut with three scoreless strikeout innings in the regular-season finale against Butler. The appeal is the frame, left-handed look, and starter traits; the question is consistency, command, and how quickly his stuff translates into dependable college innings.
