a name to track, but current South Carolina DB impact is unclear
Matt Crockett is listed in South Carolina football records, but the available reliable sources do not show clear 2026 game production, rankings, or role details for him yet. For a DB, that usually means the story is more about development, fit, and opportunity than box-score noise; until he earns snaps, he profiles as a wait-and-see prospect rather than a proven difference-maker. If you value upside, coaching upside, and special-teams grit, keep him on the radar.
