Seth Mitchell brings veteran linebacker size and proven tackling juice to Michigan State
In the 2026 season, Seth Mitchell is listed by Michigan State at 6-2, 255 pounds as a junior linebacker, and his profile points to a physical, downhill defender who can stack, shed, and finish plays. Earlier in his Spartan career, he was a productive tackler and even battled through significant knee issues, including multiple surgeries, which adds a real durability storyline to his evaluation. The best fit here is a team that wants toughness, experience, and a tone-setter in the box rather than a pure sideline-to-sideline speed merchant.
