Western Illinois LB Kevin Palermo: a tackling machine with captain-grade leadership
Kevin Palermo made his mark at Western Illinois as a high-volume, reliable middle linebacker: in the 2011 season, he led the Leathernecks with 105 tackles, averaged 9.55 tackles per game, and finished sixth in the MVFC and 38th nationally. He also earned Second Team All-MVFC honors and the team’s defensive MVP nod, which tracks with the on-field reputation of a steady, physical communicator who plays with leadership and consistency. If your team wants a linebacker who brings production, toughness, and glue-guy energy, Palermo fits the mold.
