Philip O’Connor brings proven linebacker production and starter-level reliability to Richmond
O’Connor looks like a **high-floor linebacker** for Richmond: in the 2024 season he started, played all 13 games, finished second on the team with **87 tackles** and added **11 tackles for loss**, earning **Third Team All-CAA** honors and a second straight First Team recognition from his prior stop at Mount St. Mary’s.[7][1] The differentiator is not just volume, but disruption—he’s productive, assignment-sound, and shows the kind of consistent intensity coaches trust in the middle of a defense.[7][1]
