Big-bodied bullpen arm with swing-and-miss upside: Jack MacIntosh gives Southern Illinois a late-game weapon
In the 2026 season, Southern Illinois RHP Jack MacIntosh has been one of the Salukis’ most useful bullpen pieces, logging key multi-inning outings and picking up wins with shutout relief work, including a 3.2-inning scoreless effort against South Dakota State and a 2.1-inning no-hit outing vs. Seton Hall. He’s a 6-foot-5, 205-pound righty with a starter’s frame, a power arm profile, and the kind of composure coaches trust in pressure spots. If your team wants a sturdy, strike-throwing reliever who can change a game in the middle innings, he’s very much a fit.
