Trip Dobson brings a bat-to-ball spark and more runway ahead for Louisiana
In the 2026 season, Trip Dobson logged limited action for Louisiana but showed flashes as a right-handed infielder with a strong frame (6-2, 190) and local pedigree out of Baton Rouge Catholic. He appeared in 14 games and hit .111 with two hits and two RBIs, but his profile is bigger than the stat line: he returned from a knee injury early in 2025 and delivered a pinch-hit RBI single in February 2026, suggesting toughness and clutch feel. He looks like a developmental fit if your team values upside, physicality, and patience.
