Utah’s Chase Carter brings proven leg strength and special-teams value
Carter’s appeal is his reliable kickoff distance and ready-made special-teams résumé: in Utah’s 2023 season, he handled 26 kickoffs with a 62.1-yard average and six touchbacks, after earning All-America honors at Morningside and going 24-for-35 on field goals there. That combination of power, experience, and proven consistency makes him a useful fit for a team that wants field-position leverage and a kicker who has already shown he can perform in multiple roles.
