Hunter Shelton brings veteran size and low-usage stability to Jackson State
Hunter Shelton is a 6'6" senior guard at Jackson State whose value comes less from box-score pop and more from experience, length, and versatility. In the 2019-20 season, he appeared in 18 games, logged 137 minutes, and contributed 10 field goals, 15 rebounds, and 4 steals; ESPN’s current listing shows modest production, with 1.7 points, 0.8 rebounds, 0.3 assists, and 26.8% shooting, which suggests a role player who fits best as a depth piece, defensive connector, and low-mistake veteran.
