veteran Delaware DB and trusted depth piece
Andres Castillo’s Delaware story is that of a selfless, multi-year defensive back who has been valued for depth, practice intensity, and adaptability after originally arriving as a quarterback. In Delaware’s 2019 roster info, he was listed as a redshirt junior DB at 5-foot-11, 200 pounds, and noted as a walk-on who could add depth and serve as a key practice player; he had played in one game that season after earlier seasons without game action. The broader profile suggests a high-football-IQ, team-first fit rather than a headline grabber—useful if your roster needs a grinder who understands the system and raises the room’s standard.
