USC Upstate Guard with High-Intensity Drive and Steady 40% Shooting
Bruce Haynes, a 6'2" guard from Summerville, SC, stands out for his relentless intensity and consistent 40% field-goal shooting despite limited scoring volume (1.7 PPG in 2012-13). His differentiators include a calm, team-first personality that elevates locker-room cohesion and a history of playing through minor injuries without missing games. While not a stat leader, Haynes’ defensive awareness and ability to make timely assists (0.3 AST) make him a reliable fit for teams needing grit and stability over flash. He’s a good fit for squads prioritizing resilience and chemistry, especially in high-pressure conference games.
