Ethan Plyler is Charleston’s clutch, all-around infield engine
In the 2026 season, Ethan Plyler was a steady middle-of-the-order bat and defensive mover for Charleston, starting all 56 games and hitting .298 with 64 hits, 8 doubles, 2 triples, 3 homers, 34 RBI, and 6 steals. He brings value beyond the box score: he’s been trusted at second, third, and short, earned 2025 All-CAA honorable mention, and was named CAA Player of the Week after a monster stretch. Translation: versatile, battle-tested, and the kind of gritty glue guy who makes a lineup feel tougher.
