Matt Edwards brings veteran, captain-level toughness to Miami (OH) defensive line
Matt Edwards stands out as a physical, high-IQ defensive lineman with proven leadership value, having been a four-year letterwinner at Miami (OH) and a senior captain who led the team and tied for the team lead in tackles for loss in his final season. His edge is less about flash and more about reliability: coaches trusted him in multiple front-seven roles, and that versatility plus his captaincy suggests a disciplined, hard-nosed presence fit for teams that value consistency, accountability, and trench toughness over pure star-chasing.
