Jake Colucci brings strike-throwing, swing-and-miss relief value for UNCG
In the 2025 season, the UNC Greensboro right-hander showed real bullpen juice: 20 appearances, a 5.06 ERA, a .242 opponent batting average, and just five extra-base hits allowed in 34 innings; in that same season, he also earned SoCon Pitcher of the Week after 7.1 shutout innings with seven strikeouts. By 2026, he added polish, going 3-0 with 26 strikeouts in 40 innings and earning CSC Academic All-District honors. The fit is clear: Colucci looks like a durable, intelligent competitor with strong command and the kind of low-drama, high-trust profile coaches love.
