Alina Schlageter brings on-base value and athletic upside to Tennessee Tech’s outfield
Alina Schlageter looks like a useful, high-upside outfield piece for Tennessee Tech: she has shown she can contribute in key moments with timely hits and baserunning, including a hit in the April 8, 2026 game against North Alabama and a stolen base in Tennessee Tech’s March 14, 2026 win over Tennessee State.[3][4] Recruiting profiles list her as a center fielder/shortstop and describe her as a self-described “5 tool player,” which points to speed, athleticism, and versatility rather than just one standout skill.[2] She fits best as a dynamic, multi-position athlete who can add depth, energy, and defensive flexibility.[2][3][4]
