Kelly Gassie gives Davidson a bench scorer with disruptive defense
Kelly Gassie has shown she can provide instant offense and momentum swings for Davidson, highlighted by a 13-point outing on 5-of-10 shooting with 2-of-3 from deep and a season-high five steals off the bench. That profile points to a guard who brings scoring versatility, active hands, and energy—useful traits for a team looking for a spark plug rather than a high-usage star. Based on the available Davidson notes, she looks like a competitive, impact-on-minutes player whose value comes from hustle, shot-making, and defensive disruption.
