rim-sized presence for Southern, but the trail is old
Brandon Bolden is a 6-foot-11 center who brought size, interior finishing, and shot-blocking upside to Southern in the 2016-17 season, with game logs showing flashes as a rebounder and paint defender rather than a high-usage scorer. His differentiator was simple: legit center length and defensive value, which matters when you need a big body to protect the lane and soak up physical minutes. The catch is context—available public stats are dated, and he was indefinitely suspended in December 2016, so any current basketball fit would need fresh verification before treating him as an active roster option.
