Jermaine McDermott brings a linebacker frame and roster-level upside to Fresno State
McDermott is a 6'2", 194-pound linebacker on Fresno State’s 2026 roster, giving him a solid build for developing into a physical, rangy defender in the Bulldogs’ front seven.[2] Publicly available team-stat sources do not yet show a meaningful statistical profile for him, so the key takeaway is projection: if he earns snaps, his value will come from size, versatility, and special-teams readiness more than proven production.[1][6][9] For a team, he looks like a developmental fit rather than an instant-impact headline name.
