A'Tyanna Gaulden brings veteran lead-guard polish and efficient shooting to SJSU
A'Tyanna Gaulden is a battle-tested **lead guard** whose value is built on efficiency, playmaking, and big-game poise: in her 2021-22 season at San Jose State she averaged 7.9 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.65 assists while shooting .714 from the free-throw line, and she has a track record of topping out as a team scoring leader at Georgia Southern and delivering 20-point-type nights. Her differentiators are her guard instincts, high school pedigree as a former five-star recruit, and a history of stuffing the stat sheet with scoring, assists, and steals, which makes her a fit for teams that need a steady, experienced backcourt organizer.[1][2]
