Larry McNeal brings downhill linebacker physicality to Nicholls' defense
McNeal profiles as a **physical, run-first linebacker** who can help Nicholls by setting the tone at the second level and bringing toughness that doesn’t always show up in box-score stats. Publicly available team stat pages do not provide enough verified season-level production for a full statistical read on his current form, but the appeal is the classic LB fit: aggression, contact balance, and the ability to play fast in a system that needs reliable tacklers. For a roster looking for intensity and trench-adjacent toughness, he is the kind of defender worth deeper evaluation.
