Albany DB Elijah Ayers brings experience, length, and steady rotational value
Elijah Ayers is a seasoned Albany defensive back who has played in multiple seasons and appeared in 10 career games, with a sophomore-year high of seven tackles that hints at dependable depth rather than flash. At 6-foot-2 and 175 pounds coming out of Springfield Central, he profiles as a long, developmental DB with a coach’s-eye appeal for technique and versatility. He is not a headline statistical producer, but his value is in experience, size, and reliability—useful traits for a secondary needing structure and physical consistency.
