Doug Marose is Delaware’s big-bodied veteran arm with flashes of swing-and-miss upside
In the 2026 season, Doug Marose has shown the profile of a durable, innings-eating righty at 6-foot-5, 230 pounds, but the results have been uneven: he’s been hit around in some starts while also flashing the ability to miss bats and work deep enough to stabilize a staff. His best selling points are size, experience, and the track record of handling starter and relief work, highlighted by a 2025 CAA Pitcher of the Week honor after 5 scoreless innings with 1 hit allowed. If your team wants a physical strike-thrower with veteran grit and upside, he’s worth a look.
