Paul Johnson brings size and trench value to NCCU’s defensive front
North Carolina Central’s Paul Johnson is a 6-foot, 280-pound defensive lineman whose profile suggests a sturdy interior presence more than a box-score star, and NCCU’s roster lists no current stats for him. That makes him a classic evaluation-by-film player: his value is likely in holding gaps, absorbing contact, and creating room for teammates rather than piling up headline numbers. If you want a DL who can add bulk, physicality, and rotational depth, he’s the kind of prospect worth watching in camp and on tape.
