Saleem Lockett brings run-stopping power and interior pressure to Morgan State
Saleem Lockett profiles as a sturdy **interior defensive lineman** with proven disruption skills, built on strong play against the run and an ability to generate sacks from the inside; in his 2016 season at Imhotep Charter, he recorded 29 total tackles, 8 sacks and a fumble recovery, and coaches praised him for getting better as the year went on[1]. That combination of power, leverage and late-season growth makes him a fit for a team that wants a physical DL who can hold the middle and still affect the quarterback[1].
