6'2" post presence who gave South Dakota State reliable frontcourt minutes
Flaata was a depth big for South Dakota State who appeared in 28 games in 2017-18, contributing 1.3 points and 2.0 rebounds per game while shooting 37.5% from the field and 54.5% at the line.[2] At 6'2", her value was less about volume scoring and more about providing size, rebounding, and situational interior defense—useful traits for a team needing a dependable, low-maintenance post option.[1][2]
