John Gelsomino brings pass-catching value, but the backfield role looks crowded
John Gelsomino is a Maine back who has shown more receiving pop than pure volume, with 19 catches for 193 yards and 3.8 yards per carry in the latest available stats, making him more of a versatile piece than a headline-grabbing feature runner. He stands out as a reliable utility weapon who can help on passing downs and in space, but the limited rushing efficiency and modest carry total suggest he is best viewed as a complementary fit rather than an every-down bell cow.
