Jared Crayton brings speed, versatility, and big-play juice to Fordham’s backfield
Jared Crayton’s profile is built on explosiveness and versatility: as a freshman in 2012 at Fordham, he averaged 5.7 yards per carry with 63 rushing yards and a touchdown in limited action, while also contributing on kickoff returns at 20.9 yards per return. He looked like a dual-threat spark plug out of St. Peter’s Prep, where he posted 1,008 rushing yards and 14 rushing touchdowns as a senior. If a team wants a runner who can hit the crease, create yards after contact, and help in the return game, Crayton fits the mold.
