Rebecca Penner brings veteran size and maturity to Cal Poly’s frontcourt
Penner is a 6-foot-1 forward from Moorpark who has been on Cal Poly’s roster since at least the 2023-24 season, giving the Mustangs an experienced, steady presence inside. Public roster pages show no available game statistics for her at Cal Poly, so the clearest takeaway is fit: she profiles as a seasoned, system-aware frontcourt piece with local roots, academic discipline, and the kind of low-drama reliability coaches like to keep around. If a team needs upside flash, she is not the headline-grabber; if it needs length, maturity, and a dependable teammate, she fits.
