Reagan Ricken brings top-end arm talent to LSU
Ricken entered LSU as one of the nation’s better prep arms, with rankings as high as No. 13 among right-handers nationally and a fastball that has reached 97 mph in 2025-26 coverage. In LSU’s 2026 debut, he flashed strike-throwing polish with three scoreless, hitless innings against Nicholls, and later showed he can work deeper into games as a freshman. The draw is obvious: size, athleticism, and frontline starter upside. He looks like a good fit if your team wants a high-ceiling power pitcher who still has room to sharpen consistency and command.
