Jack Brooks brings Aussie consistency and field-position swagger to South Alabama
Jack Brooks has been a steady special-teams weapon for South Alabama, with a career marked by strong hang time, ball placement, and low-risk field-position control. In the 2022 season, he averaged 41.1 yards per punt and stacked up career program marks, including 8,939 punting yards and 61 punts inside the 20, while also earning honorable mention all-Sun Belt recognition and preseason Ray Guy Award watch-list attention. The value here is reliability: he’s the kind of punter who flips the field without drama, and that’s a sneaky-big fit for teams that win with hidden yards.
